I’m frequently asked what is permanent makeup and why would you want to apply it permanently?
Permanent makeup is also called dermagraphics or micropigmentation. The procedure is an application of micro insertions of pigment into the dermal layer of skin. With the cosmetic client in mind, I offer natural looking eyebrows, eyeliner, eyelash enhancement, blended lip liner, full lip color, and beauty marks.
For the para medical client I offer nipple and areola repigmenting after breast reconstruction or reduction, cleft lip vermillion restoration, and brows before chemotherapy.
Convenience is one of the most common reasons people choose permanent makeup. You can sleep longer in the morning, be as active as you want without worrying your eyebrow pencil will rub off, eyeliner will smudge, or that your lip color will remain on a cup or linen at a party! Alopecia patients have found comfort in the restoration of simulated facial hair through permanent makeup. Stroke patients, people with unsteady hands and those who are visually impaired regain confidence. The appearance of unsightly scars can be greatly improved. When you are happy with your appearance you feel better about yourself!
